We went on vacation to Siesta Key and found Cafe Venice on TripAdvisor. We read the great reviews and decided to give it a chance. We were not disappointed at all. The service was fabulous from start to finish. The food was also great. We had several seafood dishes and the veal; everything was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and good service at a fair price.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and decided to see what the city had to offer. We checked out the menu and decided Cafe Venice was definitely a place to try on our list. I think we just found our favorite restaurant in town!!! Tried the Seafood Ragout, the Grilled Romaine Salad, and the Broman Cab wine ....at our server Michelle's recommendation. I can't wait to go again and try something else--they have it all....Duck, Lamb, Ossobucco, Veal, Tuna, Salmon....Simply the best! The food and service outdo anything we have found in Venice.....and they take reservations. Everyone is friendly, the place is cute and classy with white linen table cloths, and I even noticed that the waitstaff knew the customer's names and watched them hug and catch up..so they must have a lot of regular clientele.....I think it's Venice's little hidden secret. Definitely a must eat destination! Pricier than some places-but worth it--good until the last morsel, and not a waste of money when you go someplace else and are merely left content.
