This place was highly recommended by some locals. They take reservations, but we walked in and were seated right away. We both had the specials for dinner. Also we tried the Caparese Salad and it was great (we use to live in Naples, Italy and had the fresh stuff all the time). The bill was pricey, but well worth it, plus we had a bottle of wine. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We were in Venice for an informal family reunion of sorts. Girls and kids. We were limited to dining out as we have 5 boys among us ranging in age from 18 months to 10 years,and no sitter. We usually get take out to bring back to the room or cook ourselves. One night we got salads from Cafe Venice. We ordered one of each on the dinner menu! Delicious! Wish we had ordered more! The place was packed on a Saturday night. It is cute inside. Nice bar area. Everybody we encountered waiting for our order was pleasant and smiling. Can't wait to go back and actually eat in!
